The FTC continues to operate as a corporate instrument without regard for its public responsibilities, as covered in Information Week. They are going to let telecoms charge websites for differential levels of access to their customers -- or even any access at all. Net neutrality is dangerous and "could stifle innovation".
It shouldn't come as a surprise, of course. In this new millennium, when has a government agency not sided with corporate profits against public interest?
