Vote Me Cool (Crass Begging)

Voting has started at Lifehacker's coolest workplace contest. Set your better judgment aside for a moment and vote for me! I actually seem to be winning, although this is apparently only the first bracket. For those with short attention spans, my office is the first one.

Closer examination of the results show that the two people who read my blog won't be able to influence things very much :-)

I voted at home. And I'll vote at work.

The comments on the contest posting on Lifehacker are the best part.

Yup. I was almost frustrated enough by the hate directed at my office to post :-) I didn't realize, although I guess I should have, that a lot of the submissions are places that revolve around spending thousands of dollars; I cut a 2" square hole in my floor.

It is also weird how my office has become a cactus office. With that picture, I was mainly trying to show that I had some nice views of my yard from my desk, since I think one of my office's big draws is its windows on three sides.

Ah well! Perhaps the prize money will go to some more deserving millionaire :-)

I am an idiot or something... How do I vote?

KRM said...

Even idiots should be allowed to vote -- after all, this is America!

At this link, assuming you have JavaScript enabled, you should see some little voting radio buttons.

No radio buttons for me despite my enabled JavaScript.

Well, it looks like you won even without my help!

Congrats?

The final round of voting is up, and I'm getting spanked! At least it is nice to know that it is the really expensive offices trouncing my hole-in-the-floor.
