My lovely original Tivo, after over 8 years of faithful service and 2 additional hard drives, is finally dead and gone. Its transferred lifetime service will live on in my HD. For one final time I would like to thank all my wonderful ex-staff for the gift that made sure I've seen all 7,418 episodes of Law & Order.

No, the HD isn't new; I got it during one of the early lifetime transfer promotions near the end of 2007. Which is why I didn't get a Premiere :-)
Yeah, my Replay is still going strong at 7 years. It's one of the main reasons I haven't bothered to go HD yet.
Now, if AT&T would hurry up and start installing U-verse in SE Urbana I could go with that and then replace my 9 year old 27 inch Sony Trinitron TV.. :)
